This past month Bruce had some vacation time scheduled and being that the wedding preparations were complete we decided to take a little mini vacation. We thought it would be fun to go to San Diego. So on Friday August 29 we boarded Jet blue for a little time alone. We had a great time walking the beaches and even getting our feet wet. Watching the sunset on the beach, and listening to the sound of the waves. We visited Old Town and the famous Mexican cafe their. Then on to Seaport Village and the San Diego Zoo. We attended Church on Sunday, a little late, because unlike Utah where there is Church ever 10 minutes at least, in San Diego you have to travel at least 30 minutes. Oh well, the important part was that we made it. We also drove to La Jollia to see the temple. It is such a gorgeous Temple, especially at sunset and when the night lights come on. It was a lot of fun spending a little time together. Bruce is already planning for our next escape.
